I made the discision to move to France six years ago after living my whole life in England and spending 20 years breeding black Arabians in Shropshire each winter got harder and harder with the wind, rain and snow and trying to much out stables when your up to your knees in mud the final straw came when I lost the use of the extra 15 acres of grazing I was renting for the horses . This ment I either had to sell most of my horses or move and find somewhere with more land so the search began, after spending hours on line I decided that I could get so much more for my money in France, wanting better weather than England I drew a line across the centre of France and anywhere below that line I would consider after two trips out to view about 20 properties we saw a house that ticked all the boxes in the Gers SW France
